2. It is red
3. The compositions is effective
4. You can look a for a long time

Edvard, I would like to hear few words because you came back thirth time at the same work - now I'm feeling I'm a singer with one song

Is this the masterpiece of all my works present here?(in your eyes of course... because everything is relative in art)

well I know you excell in rational things (filtered in a personal way) but this one is not quite that kind... this is pure emotional one... hmmm

Hey Manon – I just seem to like this piece. I gets my attention. I like red. Why? No idea? People mostly like blue and green. I really have no opinions about masterpieces...yours or mine. I just like things or dont like things. Hope I were not repeating my self! In the future I will comment on other pieces too. Promise!

Take care!

Right, art it's kind of instinctual more than other things. I'm aproaching by things around in the same way. If I like it will be somewhere in my collections. And not always have an explanation why I like it or not but sometimes I see clearly why.

Also when I work I let the instinct works... sure :)

:D Bloody Mary - good name! I should change it.

You know that translation of Manon (which is French one) is Mary in English :) - Maria in Romanian... in Sweden how knows

You really like tough things man...

though, maybe, but very interesting... there's a grace about it, which made me think of the Sistine paintings... despite the weight and pain of the skinned or burnt flesh, the figure seems to be weightlessly moving, or even dancing... well it's just what it evokes for me :) i find it rather uplifting...

Yes the material give that feeling. The body is made by metallic foil...

ah-ah! it also evokes garbage... grace and garbage. really interesting :)

yeee. You can't imagine how interesting things can be done with that foil. (this foil is a rest from some hot foil stamping of printed material). The object we built with foil looks like real brass, copper or bronze 9depends by foil metallic color) but when you take in the hand you have a big surprise because it's light...

A wonderful piece in your gallery.
I have not so much the impression of burning fleh, but more of raw flesh that sprawled across a butcher-shop-counter.

I honestly don't unterstand this comparison with the burning flesh, sorry. :(
Please explain further as I don't catch the burning aspect.
I'd seen your piece as a pathological approach to physicality itself, how it is nbothing more than flesh and "soul" adds life to it. > something in that direction

If I want represent heart / soul I'll choose the anatomical representation - never the sweet Valentin's type.
But also hear and soul are very common symbols... so I try avoid it.

I agree with you, but then the question arises, how else to depict the soul.
Even classic art has used the heart as symbol, but the problem still resides.

Well I think that soul could be represented indirect

Passion - the perfect produce of soul (even in my opinion is not only of soul) can be transpose in a state like suffuring, exciting, happy or sadness... or burning. Passion means burning in the end.

Could have other indirect forms?

I think the mentioned emotions are a quite indirect form.
Direct forms would be -like you can see in many christian paintings- a soul in form of light or aura.

Yes could be light or aura but this type not represent something consuming like passion or love. It's quite an interesting aspect of this dual aspect of soul representation.

oh it's simple :D. just a metaphor.
I don't like draw heart... I like more draw brain - and it's visible already
