my first colaborative work with :iconfooyth: :thanks:

-------------------------------
I am a great admirer of Renaissance, Baroques, Rococo period of time when human representation reached a high level of an exquisite elegance. In Renaissance nude look more “statuary”... then Baroque added dynamism, rococo a little frivolity… a.s.o.
When I asked fooyth to build something on couple images from her gallery, I had in my mind to try some experiments around... to be close and far from classical representation, to keep those essential points into a up_to_date environment and non mythological subject.

... later other exp.

In my own opinion, being myself an Italian guy, its style is more "futuristic"

Gotta love renaissance era art. Can we get the model stocks used as well? :)

Well, I can't consider images as stock.

My friend fooyth not agree with such idea for sure... and me the same. Her last images in gallery made me think a little forward and... what I worked started from her images I returned to her in psd - high format, so she can continue anytime in other direction she like. In the end this work is an open space of working on each side... a fredom of expresion.

Thanks anyway for question.

While you have succeed in reaching a high level of grace and elegance, and for sure a lot of dynamism, I think that you are going beyond baroque. While in Baroque, there is always a naive and non realistic feel, this work is also anchored in reality.
Bravo!

I found a gate to escape from clasic... and right is anchored in reality.

[Now a read a book about new mytology - it seams, we have to re-write some things... because the world is changing]

Very good idea. I started long time ago to re-write the Fables de la Fontaine with :iconmamazmeilor: but both of us where busy at the time, and it didn't go far enough. That was the project after our cinema project, that was much more successful [link]
But revisiting mythology would be a great topic too!

Wow how interesting idea! Few years ago time was a little larger, now it's tight. Very tight :D (I can understand because I feel myself caught in the middlw, too).

The book of new mytology is written by Jérôme Garcin (French ;)) and talking instead of Gods or religion... by products, lifestyle, economical trends (GPS, Google, Speed Dating, iPod, Kate Moss, Zidane, Sushi and also couple writers). Things that we promote agresivly. Funny and different point of view.

I see how it can feel.
I wouldn't have expected a such book from Jerome Garcin. I'll try to find it!
