Scoarta umana 01 by bymano Scoarta umana 01 by bymano
Couple days ago I watched TV at a documentary - Redwood Photography. This tree is a legend. The photographer Michael Nichols. Impressive... everything...

I've been thinking many a time at this subject because my started series UnaturalNatura. Sure my tree is a common one... apparently, but not not as common to go further without a little study ;)

happy to hear that...

format is difficult for dA... I will try to work around at "how can be used such images" - that means interior design (rooms)

if you believe it hanan... this morning I waked up and I did couple hand sketches with leters - for "ear theme". I was sure that I will reserve couple hours to work on Ear theme... but I needed some lips at the sketch I wanted do it (it is something about media)... and remembered that I took some picture with me (images with lips)... and rambling in library I found 2 images with tree (bark tree). Nothing spectacular but the bark very curious inside... I saw a face of an old man, and general form as a body...

My theme unaturalNatura is made with curious images using nature, other view of nature unusual, fantesizt, abstract, non-usual or anyidea (no bonderies) and this is a curious approch to nature + a little fantezy (I liked that I could integrate a little fantezy)

here it is an orizontal version - a little pushed further [link]

the horizontal version is even more surreal, with the pink (human) and the lips.
yes, I'm always amazed how you manipulate nature (without that being too obvious) into something highly unnatural!
and totally believe you when you say it all started by the coincidence of finding old images. i think also old images give you more space to work on them than new ones. they somehow lose their initial purpose and let you free to work on new different levels.

pinkish added to black and white always amazed me, because bring unconditioned elegance and warmth, isn't it.... and transform the serious grayscale image in non-such serious and much interesting.

Yes you are right with old images.

Now imagine the little story of the human face, because this is what you like the best - if you have a bark hair you never have to comb :D (this is the best part), only rain washing it - the model of bark is always unique, and growing... and growing, nothing can't stop it. In time some little birds find it proper for their home and soooo on, so on  Absolutely fun.

i should tell you something, i haven't combed my hear for 3 years now (at least) lol, i found another good way than a bark hair.
but i do wash it, so i think your solution is better, besides, i only have black thoughts nesting in it [link] no birds at all! it's much more romantic, your way!

you are soooo beautiful as you are... not need to change anything. Those black thoughts... You can clean that Hanan!... and to have there a oasis... yeee maybe I am still romantic. I don't care tooo much (I accept myself as I am) :D...
