Sure, here was my first attempt.
I dreamt to be a little different but the original images scanned are unuseful for my idea.
do you know a performant scanner for 3.5 mmm film?!? I mean for high resolution. A professional scanner for diapositive.

naw
since over a year now
im soly working digital
my old scanner (which produces lines on the scans) is dusty somewhere
im so far away from all that great art working..
my scanner was veery old and had a dia-scanner device
but it wasnt good actually. the standard scans were much better
plus it had 1200dpi resolution i think to remember
and for those tiny rectangles thats not all too much
but if you remember ill be very happy when you inform Me about such a thing
in case you found a good one :)
someday ill be working again in the analogue world!!

we live in a speed's world... in such context, slow motion sounds like an "avantgardist" current ;)

yeah
i get your drift
:)

(though i fear one of the reasons i do speedpaints is to get a "product" in the fastest possible way. without working or waiting for it too long....
yes leaving it and working for it for days instead of minutes would be good......)

I'm vice verse. I like things made in slow motion, minutious, well thought... and build it, because that unique sensation... when you stay long in one image, you start be full with each element present there... and you go further until you are one with what you're doing. Couple themes in my gallery are build in this way... (and I know, only me can push them further).
Photography or in my photography realm (I can't generalize) I appreciate it at half quite because this aspect - to easy and quickly for a result, I not even have time, full inside-myself with pleasure of I'm I want to do and it's done :D.

It's curious mode to see things.

Excellent image. Music for dancing barefoot? I think maybe something with steel drums, Caribbean music... oh! J-D said something like that. Well, me too

Woody Allen didn't come to my mind I must confess. I was more thinking of Caribbean music. Very eloquent image!

Caribbean... not bad, not bad at all. [link]

Now, because you where very close with the main idea let's dig a little further - Dance theme - I thought at Greek vase painting (like [link])... or Matisse [link] but... what about a change point of view with camera in center of circle of dance. My film is old but I think I can gen an interesting work in a modern interpretation of dance. Each image is dynamic, spontaneous... curious angle... well will take a little time until I finish this theme, also a good start ;)

Of course, what else than steel drums!
The theme is dynamic, and carries happiness, so it is worth pursuing it.

My musical accompaniment for barefoot dancing would be Le Sacre du Printemps: [link] ;)

wild rhythm...

Pina Baush did a choreography on this music, or Maurice Bejart - all barefoot indeed ;)

well the final of this will take awhile. Need scanning, and working at very large scale...

But this as it is - like a printing from an old newspaper I'll keep it here.
